The 24-hour Story Challenge (9-10 April 2016)
An intensive masterclass aimed at giving participants tools and developing their skills for turning out stories quickly. This is an important skill to develop as your writing practice matures, in order to submit successfully to themed anthologies or contests, or to respond to requests for stories.
Writing Science Fiction (2 July 2016)
A one day workshop covering the nuts and bolts of SF storytelling, including world-building, creating alien creatures and characters, alternative and future technologies, and creating and developing stories in SF worlds.
