Big News, and a nice little surprise

In Uncategorized on June 22, 2012 at 2:12 pm

My BIG news is that I’ve signed a contract with Ticonderoga Publications to publish A COLLECTION OF MY SHORT STORIES!  The working title is Angel Dust and it’s scheduled for late 2014. The book will be a mix of published stories and original material. Details here. Very exciting.

And another nice little surprise this week: I sold my story “Dancing the Labyrinth” I-don’t-know-how-long ago to a magazine called Tales of Moreauvia which then appeared to fall over before publishing their final issue (including my story).  This week I opened an envelope out of the mailbox to find two copies of the much delayed and miraculously back-from-the-dead final issue. “Dancing the Labyrinth” will be posted here once I dig up the contract and figure out what exclusivity period applies, if any.

My story “The Wishwriter’s Wife”, which originally appeared in Daily SF in July 2011, has been included in the lineup for The Year’s Best Australian Fantasy & Horror 2011.

Peggy Bright Books has published the Light Touch Paper, Stand Clear anthology, featuring my story “The Godbreaker and Unggubudh the Mountain”.
